This slide doesn't scan very well. Also the shadow doesn't look very natural, because the foreground was illuminated by some stray light from the nearby campsites.
This shot was taken with double exposures. I lit a candle inside my tent and then took a 30-second-or-so exposure at about f/5.6 for the tent. I then put out the candle and exposed for about 3 hours at f/2.8 to record the star trails. Not a great shot, but it reminds me of the beautiful night that I spent there.
